How do I decide what hourly rate to charge and how does payment and commission work?

As you are self-employed you decide your hourly rate. Most Helpers charge between £18-20ph for weekday visits and slightly more at weekends. Good Life Sorted charges a 20% commission plus VAT for finding the customers and maintaining the Helper Portal, the system we have created to manage your customers and schedule.

As a marketplace, we manage payments. So at the end of every month, all your completed visits are invoiced to your customers and we pay you on the 10th of the following month. The Helper Portal makes it very easy for you to view your completed visits, invoices and charges.
